For the very first time the physios got Mark up and he asked to go into a wheel chair. He could only stay in it for half an hour but was so happy. I took him for a spin around the ward so he could get his barings a bit. He has no plaster because all the metal has fixed all his breaks except now he has a lot of mending to do. He has a half cast on his forearm to protect the skin graft and his wrist. He can now wiggle his fingers a little and slightly move his leg - though it is all very painful he is incredibly brave and positive. He has a lot of work ahead of him.

It's good to see him out of the hospital bed.
ReplyDeleteyep but only for half an hour once a day - but soon he will cope with more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a massive step in his recovery this is. I am going to use this photo for the thing I am doing for him.
