Spur Winged Plover - readying for attack

There were two masked lapwings attacking just outside work - they are awful when they attack, they have spurs that can cut you quite badly - they lay their eggs on the ground then when the chicks hatch they move them - this is when they attack. They are smart too - one watches you and makes a big noise and then all of a sudden from behind you comes the other one. - They missed me ( many times!!)
